Policies & regional information
Updated 26 October 2026. ZUQ is designed for an international audience. This page describes current product controls; it is not a claim of approval in every country.
Global privacy defaults
Optional website measurements are off by default. Account access through the website is restricted to self-declared adults aged 18 or over. Self-declaration is not verified age assurance. Country selection does not establish residence or legal eligibility. Under-18 players can use guest games with adult supervision; a verified parental-consent account flow is not yet available.
Regional information
- United States: COPPA has specific protections for children under 13. No child-account consent service is offered here.
- European Union / EEA: the age for a child to consent to certain online data processing varies by member state between 13 and 16. ZUQ uses a conservative 18+ account interface rather than assuming one EU age.
- United Kingdom: high privacy defaults and age-appropriate design should apply to services likely to be accessed by children.
- India: the DPDP framework includes specific protections for under-18s and phased commencement.
- Other countries and territories: local privacy, consumer, online safety and availability requirements may differ. The conservative guest defaults remain in place; no country-specific legal clearance is represented.
Your choices
Use Privacy settings in the main website footer to decline optional measurements. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control override measurement consent. Email, SMS and WhatsApp marketing are not enabled by this setting. Necessary hosting and game-server requests may still produce access logs.
Community standards
Do not harass, threaten, impersonate others, post personal information, solicit minors or send spam. Community features require the authenticated service and independent adult verification to be enabled. Check the Community page for actual availability. Game links do not by themselves create shared multiplayer rooms. Never exchange contact details with strangers.
Content guidance
Game categories describe play style and interactions. They are editorial guidance, not ESRB, PEGI or other official age ratings. The Family collection currently focuses on solo puzzles. Online interaction can change the experience.
